Important Hirer Information
- The rates quoted include VAT, insurance and unlimited mileage within the UK.
- Fuel is not included in the rates.
- Drivers must be at least 21 years of age or 25 years to drive a mini-bus, mpv or 7.5 Ton
- There is a £200 (£300 for european travel) deposit against damage to all vehicles and the hirer is responsible up to the first £500 of damage to all vehicles.
- Hirers are responsible for all traffic violations.
Please note that when collecting hire vehicles you need to produce your driving licence – both parts if it is the 'picture' type, this applies to all named drivers on the hire agreement form. If you do not have a UK licence, please telephone and speak to one of our staff. We also require another form of identification from the hirer, ie passport or recent utility bill showing the hirer's name and address, please telephone and speak to one of our staff if you are unsure about this.
Hirer's responsibility
- It is the responsibility with regard to operator's licences.
- Goods In trade must not be carried unless the hirer has a good vehicle operating licence if stopped by the Department of Transport both load and vehicle are confiscated if no operators licence and NOT returned.
- Hirers of 7.5T vehicles must produce a copy of their operator's licence unless the hire is for an individual house move.
- Daily checks by the hirer should include tyre pressure, oil and water levels, lights and indicator functioning.
- Any problems should be reported to us immediately.
European travel
Travel to European Union countries is allowed. Specific rates are shown for weekly hire. For trips to Spain there is an additional statutory charge of £50 for a bail bond. The rates include insurance and breakdown cover. Recovery insurance is available at an extra charge.
